More wrestlers have been cut as World Wrestling Entertainment adjusts its developmental areas. NXT UK will relaunch as NXT Europe in 2023, it was announced earlier today. While it is unclear how much of NXT UK will be incorporated into the new brand, there are a few names that will not be included. Former NXT UK Tag Team Champions Mark Andrews and Flash Morgan Webster have both left WWE, according to Twitter.

“My time with WWE has now come to an end after six fantastic years,” Andrews wrote. “I’m looking forward to seeing what comes next.”
Along with Andrews and Webster, “Wild Boar,” Mike Hitchman has been an NXT UK competitor since 2018. Hitchman was famously tagged with Primate, and the two were known as The Hunt.
“I am no longer under contract with WWE as of today,” Hitchman wrote. “It’s been an incredible experience, and I’m grateful for everything it’s given me – I’m excited for what’s ahead, and I can’t wait to get back in that ring and GO!”
Jack Starz is another among the wrestlers who have been released. Starz first wrestled for WWE in a dark match during the inaugural WWE United Kingdom Championship Tournament in 2017. In November 2018, he made his television debut.
NXT UK Being Rebranded into NXT Europe
Millie McKenzie and Sha Samuels were also freed. McKenzie competed in the 2018 NXT UK Women’s Title competition before becoming a regular member of the roster in 2021. Samuels debuted as Ed Harvey in NXT UK in 2021. Samuels would soon repudiate his new ring name, resuming his long-standing Sha Samuels moniker for the duration of his WWE career.
Rohan Raja has been released as well. On NXT UK, Raja is best known for his feud with Teoman. Raja thanked WWE for the chance in his goodbye message, emphasizing to his supporters that this release is just a hiccup.
