Unanswered Questions Surround WrestleMania 39: Will Bray Wyatt Face Bobby Lashley?

Bray Wyatt

The highly-anticipated WrestleMania 39 event is fast approaching, with the match card almost completely set. However, there are still a few major matches with some unanswered questions, and one of the biggest uncertainties revolves around the face-off between Bobby Lashley and Bray Wyatt. Following Wyatt’s taunts after Elimination Chamber, the two were expected to fight, but reports of Wyatt’s illness have left the situation unclear.

Bobby Lashley expected face Bray Wyatt

Recently, Bobby Lashley confirmed that he would participate in WrestleMania 39, regardless of his opponent. A sighting of Bray Wyatt on Twitter also adds to the mystery, as a fan posted a photo with Wyatt looking healthy and happy. However, this picture alone doesn’t confirm whether he is ready to compete against Lashley.

Interestingly, Ringside News received some intriguing information from an unnamed source within the WWE’s creative team. According to this source, even members of the creative team are unsure about Wyatt’s status at WrestleMania 39, as no one seems to have top-level information.

To make things even more confusing, it was announced during the latest episode of SmackDown that Bobby Lashley would participate in the Andre The Giant Battle Royale. As Lashley is the only person in the Royale with a confirmed match at WrestleMania 39, this move may be an attempt to set him up with an alternate opponent if the WWE needs to make last-minute changes.

L.A. Knight could be replacement opponents for WrestleMania match

Many fans speculate that if Lashley’s match with Wyatt falls through, L.A. Knight – also participating in the Royale – may step in as his replacement. Knight has recently expressed disappointment at not being involved in the Hollywood show, so this would be a good opportunity to incorporate him into the event.

Additionally, Alexa Bliss confirmed her presence at WrestleMania 39, although she didn’t provide any further details. It had previously been hinted that Bliss was being targeted by the Man of 1,000 Truths and Uncle Howdy before the event, so it’s possible they may also make an appearance.

Trying to predict Bray Wyatt’s next move is always difficult, as he’s known for using deceptive tactics to surprise fans and build his characters. While it would be exciting if he appeared unexpectedly, most fans would prefer confirmation that he’ll be at WrestleMania 39.

For those with a Peacock Premium subscription, WrestleMania 39 will air on April 1st and 2nd. It’s a great time to subscribe and revisit classic WWE moments while anticipating the excitement of the upcoming event.
