LA Knight walked into WrestleMania 41 as the reigning WWE United States Champion, but it was Jacob Fatu who stole the spotlight in Las Vegas, delivering a performance that solidified The Bloodline’s dominance on the grandest stage of them all.

Jacob Fatu Entered WrestleMania 41 as a serious Threat to L.A. Knight’s Title Reign

Since his arrival in WWE, Fatu has turned heads with his raw power and agility, quickly aligning himself with Solo Sikoa’s faction of The Bloodline. In his early days, Fatu made no secret of his admiration for Sikoa, and together they ran roughshod over SmackDown.

However, things began to shift after Sikoa’s loss to Roman Reigns in a battle for the title of Tribal Chief. The defeat seemed to crack the foundation of their alliance, and Fatu started forging his own path—one that included an ongoing rivalry with Braun Strowman.

At WrestleMania 41, Fatu set his sights on championship gold, challenging LA Knight for the United States Title.

A Moonsault-Fueled Statement

Making his entrance alongside Solo Sikoa, Fatu looked focused and ready. LA Knight, ever the showman, arrived in style—driven onto the stage in a sleek Maserati. But the glitz didn’t translate into glory.

Knight entered the match battered after wrestling two grueling matches on SmackDown, and Fatu wasted no time capitalizing. At one point, Knight countered a moonsault attempt mid-air with a thunderous BFT, nearly sealing the win—but Fatu managed to reach the ropes just in time.

Regaining momentum, Fatu unleashed back-to-back moonsaults, finally putting Knight down for the count and capturing the WWE United States Championship in his very first WrestleMania match.

Celebrations erupted as WWE legend Haku joined Fatu in the ring to mark the victory.

Fatu’s win made him the second member of the legendary Anoa’i family to claim gold that night—joining Jey Uso, who shocked the world by defeating Gunther to win the World Heavyweight Championship.

WrestleMania 41 will be remembered as a night The Bloodline left their mark once again—this time with a new champion in their ranks.
