Samantha Irvin, one of the most recognizable voices in WWE, made a big announcement on Monday, revealing that her time as the ring announcer for “Monday Night Raw” has come to an end. Taking to social media, Irvin expressed her gratitude to some of WWE’s biggest names, including Hall of Famers Brian “Road Dogg” James, Mark Henry, and WWE chief content officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque, for their support during her tenure.

Samantha Irvin Says Good Bye to WWE

In part of her heartfelt message, Irvin said, “WWE Universe, my time has come to an end as your Monday Night Raw Ring Announcer. I love you all tremendously, and this does not mark the end of my art—I have a lifetime more to share. Thank you to every WWE fan who accepted me.”

Since joining WWE in 2021, Irvin’s booming voice and undeniable passion for the sport made her a staple on WWE broadcasts. She wasn’t just an announcer; she became a focal point, capturing the energy of each event she worked. Many fans will never forget her electrifying call at WrestleMania 41, when Cody Rhodes finally dethroned Roman Reigns to capture the WWE Championship, marking one of the most iconic moments in recent WWE history.

Outside of WWE, Irvin’s personal life is just as intertwined with the wrestling world. She is married to Ricochet, a former WWE superstar and current AEW wrestler. Ricochet, who left WWE earlier this year to join AEW under Tony Khan’s leadership, showed his support for Irvin in her announcement on Monday.

Lilian Garcia Returning to Monday Night RAW

As Irvin steps away, reports have already surfaced about her replacement. According to Sean Ross-Sapp of Fightful Select, WWE is bringing back Lilian Garcia, a former fan-favorite ring announcer, to take over Irvin’s spot on “Monday Night Raw.”

This change comes as WWE prepares for a new era, with “Monday Night Raw,” its long-running flagship show, set to move from USA Network to Netflix in January 2025. While Irvin’s departure marks the end of one chapter, the excitement around WWE continues to build as they transition into a new phase.
